Elizabeth Shawl. DK and 4Ply Knitting Pattern

“Elizabeth”
This shawl is created in dk weight with a 4ply lace edge border and a detailed neck edge.
It’s a fun but simple knit, using plain stitching for the body of the shawl and a perfect introduction to a lace edge that looks more complicated than it is.
Its seen here in a semi solid for the body with a variegated edge and vice versa for the second example, which ever colour combinations you choose, I hope you enjoy the making and the wearing.
Its name is from the Outlander story and a piece I imagine Claire wearing in Scotland or North Carolina.
It’s been inspired by my love of Outlander, the Scottish Highlands and historical clothing and textiles
I hope you enjoy creating this shawl and that the finished result brings much pleasure and joy in its wearing.
This listing is for the KNITTING PATTERN only and not the finished garment.
It’s a pattern suitable for advanced beginner onwards abilities.
I haven’t included a gauge chart as its not really necessary for this piece.
