Depending on how you decide to finish the joining seam will make these into handwarmers around your thumb or wrist warmers.

They have been designed as part of an Outlander knit along and my concept was them being a gift from Brianna to Lizzie as Brianna says goodbye in season 5. For hands that have given her so much support on their journey together it seemed fitting for her to be gifted warmth and comfort to her hard-working hands.

They are knitted flat and then flat seamed together, so no juggling working in the round, and are perfect for that special skein of luxury yarn you have waiting to use.

They are created in 4ply/sock/fingering weight yarn

Perfect for a quick gift or to simply give your own arms a treat.

Overall approx 4Ply yarn 200m

3.5mm and 3.75mm needles


It’s been inspired by my love of Outlander, the Scottish Highlands and historical clothing and textiles.
