This listing is for the KNITTING PATTERN only and not the finished garment.
This pattern has been inspired by the Outlander story and the warmth of wool needed in Scotland particularly in the 1700s.
I designed it after thinking of the way prisoners were kept in those times, and is named “Wentworth” after the prison in the Outlander story.
It is a statement piece, that I created in browns to depict the rusty chains, however it looks stunning in bright rainbow colours as well.
I have used Cascade Eco plus yarn in three colours amounting to approx 478 yards.
It could of course be made in more than three colours or equally made in just one, the possibilities are endless.
The knitting techniques are basic, plus sewing up.
I haven’t included a gauge chart as it is not really necessary for this piece.
created in Aran weight yarn on 8mm needles
