Castle Walls 4Ply Knitting Pattern

£5.00

This listing is for the KNITTING PATTERN only and not the finished garment.

This pattern has been inspired by the Outlander story and the warmth of wool needed in Scotland particularly in the 1700s.

This pattern has been inspired by the castles of Scotland, the textures of the walls and the part that they played in the 18th Century, bought to life by Outlander.
This is an asymmetrical triangular shaped shawl which carries the brickwork of the walls up one side and has chains depicted by a few rows of lace stitching travelling from the walls to the edge.
Its been created using 1 x 100g 4ply yarn, but could easily be made bigger by continuing with the chain work sections until you have your desired size.
I haven’t included a gauge chart as you are knitting either one complete skein or to the size you wish the shawl to be.

created in 4ply yarn needing approx 400m

4mm Needles
