“Handfast”

As part of my Outlander inspired patterns for season 6, this is for episode 7, and has been made in collaboration with Skeinhawk Yarns.

It requires 2 skeins of DK weight yarn to create a shoulder shawl that can be worn in different ways. It is created with part of the design being made holding the yarn double, which makes it a quick piece to create and one of warmth to wear.

The pattern is suitable for a beginner and uses knit and purl stitches

It is worked flat without charts and is written row by row.

Approx Overall Yarn Used 450m on 5mm and 7mm needles
