This is a triangular shawl worked with simple stitches to create an open mesh material that is finished with optional tassels.

It has been created with Halloween in mind as a ‘witchy” shawl, and the colour of the yarn chosen with that in mind.

I have used a chunky weight yarn by Malabrigo which allows the shawl to be created quickly and I can imagine it in may colours depending on the season of the year. The yarn has a silky weight to it once worked up that is perfect for this open worked pattern.

The stitches used make the piece completely reversible.
