For the coming year I am hoping to release a pattern each month relating to the seasonal months or something relevant to the season within the month.

With that in mind and the need for something warm around the neck I have opted for a cowl design that using the dark main colour with the joy of colour along the edge for me brightens the month as we move forwards.

It’s a design that uses a skein of DK yarn and a quantity of scrap left over yarn or a contrast of 4ply.
Its worked flat with the edge added on completion and is created with written instructions.

approx 225m of DK Weight and 20g of 4ply

5mm Needles

Its suitable for a beginner upwards with some basic knowledge.



I hope you enjoy creating this cowl and that the finished result brings much pleasure and joy in its wearing.
