“Standing Stones”
This wrap/scarf carries standing stones within panels of coloured mini skeins that I have chosen to depict a few of the characters in the first book of the Outlander series.
It is created in DK weight yarn and uses simple short rows to produce the standing stone shapes. These short rows allow the bottom edge of the wrap to gently curve and flow.
The eyelet beginning and end to the wrap is created with reference to the veil between the two time travelled planes that the standing stones in the story link together.
It could of course be created all in one colour with the embossed stones standing out against a plain background.
The design is suitable for an advanced beginner upwards with full instructions and written row by row to make the working of the wrap as simple as possible.
Approx Overall Yarn Used Just Under 800m on 4.5mm needles
The pattern is written by row, not charted or graphed.
***There is no shipping charge as this is a PDF file for download.***
