“Colour In January”

This has been designed to brighten the days of January, it’s a fun and fairly fast make using 12 sock weight mini skeins in whatever order you fancy, with a contrast in a DK weight yarn to add some weight and yarn contrast to the piece.

If you prefer to use sock/4ply for the contrast the pattern will also work well.
The shaping is achieved using short rows and the back neck section is shorter to allow it to be worn under a coat or jacket without unnecessary bulk.

The shaping isn’t symmetrical.

It is worked flat without charts and makes a piece that can be worn in a variety of ways.
