“Boston”
The rows and stitches have been worked on this scarf so that it is reversible with no obvious front and back pattern.
It’s a long scarf that can be worn in a variety of ways and a simple lace pattern using just one skein of fingering/sock/4ply yarn.
My inspiration has come from the Outlander story, wanting to create something relative to the 1960s and living in Boston.
The yarn has been created by the talented Dandelions and Daisies Fibre Art.
This is a fun, light piece to wear that would be equally suited to a casual outfit or an evening dress if made in a luxury yarn and worn draped around the shoulders or throat area.
Whatever occasion you create it for, I hope you will share it with me and enjoy it as much as I have creating it.
It’s been inspired by my love of the Scottish Highlands.
