“Compassion”
This design has been created around the sixth season of Outlander and encompasses the compassion that Claire has for others whilst also needing the understanding and love of those around her.
The meaning of Compassion literally is “to suffer together” and this season for me sees this happening for all the characters and their storyline.
I wanted to create a shawl that was able to provide a hug and security to its wearer and this is achieved by using multiple skeins of DK yarn with the contrast of a 4ply skein.
Approx Overall Yarn Used 800m of DK and 80m of 4ply on 4.5mm needles
There is no chart to the pattern it is written row by row, and worked bottom to top.
Its suitable for a knitter that has the basic skills upwards.
It’s been inspired by my love of Outlander, the Scottish Highlands and historical clothing and textiles.
This listing is for the KNITTING PATTERN only and not the finished garment.
