“Ice Dragon”

This cowl has been designed as part of a knit along event with Honey Girl Farms yarns.

It is an aran weight piece for yarn that is suitable on a 6mm needle.

I wanted to create a cowl that is long to the front and hangs from the shoulders down the body.

The photos show that it can be worn with a formal dress or casual clothes for a warm and special accessory.

To bring it into the Game Of Thrones theme I have taken it to be a dragons tail hanging down the body and curled around the shoulders, reminiscent of Khalessi and her dragons.

It’s a pattern that’s suitable for an intermediate beginner and above or a beginner wanting to spread their wings into something new.

It is worked partially in the round.

Approx Overall Yarn Used 470m on 6mm needles
