Culloden Moor Cowl
This cowl has been bought to life in remembrance for all those that fell and survived the battle that was fought on Culloden Moor on the 16th April 1746.
I have created it here in the colours of green for the moor, the darkness of browns and greys, and of course reds for the blood that was shed on that day.
The yarn was dyed especially for me for this piece and details are given below if you also wish to use this yarn.
This is an easy knitted piece that can be worn in many different ways.
It’s been inspired by my love of Outlander and the Scottish Highlands.
I hope you enjoy creating it and have a thought for the men that fought, and importantly the reasons why they did so, as the stitches are worked on your needles.
This pattern has been inspired by the Outlander story and the warmth of wool needed in Scotland particularly in the 1700s.
I like to create designs that can be knitted from an early stage in your knitting journey, but that don’t necessarily look like it
It’s a pattern suitable for all abilities.
I haven’t included a gauge chart as its not really necessary for this piece.
The yarn used is by PaperstoriesUK on Etsy, more details of usage and colour are detailed in the pattern
***There is no shipping charge as this is a PDF file for download.***
