This pattern includes both the scarf and the hat featured in the photographs.

I wanted to create a unisex scarf and hat that uses chunky yarn held singularly for the scarf and double to make the hat warm and thick.

Approx Overall Yarn Used 320m on 7mm and 9mm Needles

Using some yarn I already had stashed, its been created in Rowan Colourscape which although discontinued can sometimes be found, but the pattern is suitable for any chunky yarn of the same meterage as listed in the pattern requirements.

It’s a simple design of easy stitches that are created to make two fun items to wear.

It’s been inspired by my love of the Scottish Highlands.
